December is an exciting month in the NA beer world. Stouts, big plans with Dry January just around the corner, and limited releases from some of the most notable names in the industry.

If you are looking for a gift for the non-drinker in your life or just trying to stock up before the holidays (you know I am), you might want to check out Bravus Brewing's most recent release.

There's Some Fancy Non-Alcoholic Beer Under The Tree

In the full-strength craft beer scene, the holidays are synonymous with highly-anticipated limited beer releases. The most notable is likely BCS by Goose Island.

The brewery released 7 versions of their popular Bourbon County Stout this year and the internet went crazy with people trying to find all 7, comparing them to previous years, and proudly displaying their bottles for all the world to see.

To be clear this is not a non-alcoholic beer, but it is a great example of how so many people get so excited for a beer that comes out only once per year.

There is however, a non-alcoholic stout that is also getting some buzz.

2020 GRAVITAS II - Non-Alcoholic Barrel-Aged Bourbon Stout

Bravus created the world's first non-alcoholic Barrel-Aged Bourbon Stout, which won the Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2019.

The team at Bravus is filling, labeling, capping each bottle by hand. And if you get your hands on one you will be part of a small and fortunate group.

They only produced about 30 cases and it is available for pre-order only at the Bravus Brewing Website.

With an impressive price tag of $30 per 510 ml (17.25 oz) bottle, this is a NA beer nerd's dream come true.

Described to have flavors of oak, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and maple syrup, this Stout screams snowy-quarantined-Christmas.

Feeling extra generous this season?

If the bottle alone isn't enough, if you hurry you can also buy a golden "Teku" glass designed specifically for this Gravitas II. It's almost too hipster.

It's sold out. What do I do?

If you happen to be reading this and this NA beer is already sold out, don't worry there are more Stouts that might.

First, take a look at the 5 non-alcoholic beers to take home for the holidays, and if that isn't enough here are a few other notable stouts worth taking a look at.

Athletic Brewing Company: Smooth Ascent Coffee Stout

In collaboration with Rise Brewing Co., we bring you the most uplifting brew we've ever made. You'll get coffee and roasted malt notes, along with raisin, mild chocolate, and sweet fruit. It finishes dry but not overly bitter. Perfect for that afternoon lift or early morning start. We won't judge.

Hairless Dog: NA Coffee Stout

This 0.0% ABV stout marries small-batch craft with big-brew flavor. Nugget and Willamette hops complement the rich coffee notes and malty goodness for a better bitter beverage.
